Local file processing

ABTOOLS desktop conversion utilities are designed to process files locally on your Windows PC. Files selected for conversion are not uploaded to ABTOOLS for conversion. Browser tools that are described as local or no-upload process supported files in your browser.

Website data

The ABTOOLS website does not intentionally use advertising trackers or marketing cookies. Standard technical, server, security, and CDN logs may be processed as part of serving and protecting the website.

Purchases and licensing

For products sold directly through this website, payment processing is handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Paddle may collect and process buyer, payment, tax, and contact information under Paddle's own privacy notice.

ABTOOLS may receive limited buyer and transaction information from Paddle where necessary for license delivery, activation, purchase restoration, customer support, fraud prevention, and other transaction-related purposes. ABTOOLS does not receive full card or payment details.

License activation

Licensed desktop products may contact ABTOOLS licensing services to activate or validate a license. Licensing requests may include the product identifier, license or transaction information, activation status, and technical information needed to operate and protect the licensing service.

Support messages

If you contact ABTOOLS for support, your message may contain personal data such as your email address, order information, Windows version, product version, device details, and information you choose to include. Do not send confidential source files unless specifically requested and you are comfortable sharing them.
